I loved it! I’m not an advice column reader, but this was a perfect read. Baba Yaga had that distinct, gritty feel to her words, as you would expect, but with that wise grandmother feel I’d want her to embody. It was a perfect read, and a timely one, on being your own woman, Baba Yaga style.

What a unique and original read! I’ve never thought of making Baba Yaga that gritty, but wise grandmother, but this was perfect. In some versions of Baba Yaga, she is indeed grandmotherly and doles out words of wisdom, but in more recent retellings, she is more insidious and less helpful.
