Kalimah Press

Founded in New York City in 2010 for the purpose of publishing literature in English about the Middle East. This mandate includes both fiction and non-fiction. In the future, the Press hopes to offer a translation service for writers whose works—in Arabic, Persian or Turkish—have been neglected here. Syracuse University Press Middle East Literature in Translation 

Syracuse University Press’s series Middle East Literature in Translation is designed to make writing from the languages of the Middle East (Arabic, Turkish, and Persian, but also Kurdish, Urdu, Turkmen, Uzbek, etc.) available to English-speaking readers. The books in the series include short stories, novels, poetry, memoirs, and works on literary criticism.

University of Texas Modern Middle East Literatures in Translation

Distributed for the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Texas, the Modern Middle East Literatures in Translation Series is devoted to the publication of English translations of literary works by established Middle Eastern writers. The series includes nearly fifty translations from Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Turkish.
